Welcome to Kidz Haven Babysitting! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, www.kidzhavenbabysitting.com (the "Site"), and our sitting services. By accessing or using the Site or our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not access the Site or use our services.

Terms & Conditions - the basics 

1. Services

Kidz Haven Babysitting provides a platform that connects families ("Clients") with qualified babysitters ("Caregivers"). We offer a variety of babysitting services, including on-demand babysitting, specialized care for children with disabilities, and care for elderly family members and adults with disabilities.

2. Client Responsibilities

• Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when creating an account and booking services.

• Child Safety: You are responsible for ensuring a safe environment for the Caregiver and your child(ren). This includes providing any necessary instructions or information about your child's needs.

• Payment: You agree to pay for services rendered in accordance with the agreed-upon rates and payment schedule.

• Cancellation: You understand and agree to our cancellation policy, which will be provided to you at the time of booking.

3. Caregiver Responsibilities

• Qualifications: You represent and warrant that you possess the necessary qualifications, experience, and skills to provide childcare services.

• Background Check: You authorize Kidz Haven Babysitting to conduct a background check as part of our vetting process.

• Reliability: You agree to arrive on time for scheduled appointments and provide professional and responsible care.

• Communication: You agree to communicate effectively with Clients and Kidz Haven Babysitting regarding any concerns or issues.

4. Bookings and Payments

• Booking: Bookings are made through the Site and are subject to availability.

• Payment: Payment for services is processed securely through the Site.

• Cancellation: Cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Kidz Haven Babysitting and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6. Disclaimer

We conduct background checks and vetting, but we cannot guarantee the safety or suitability of any Caregiver. Clients are ultimately responsible for selecting and supervising Caregivers.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kidz Haven Babysitting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Site or the services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Site or using the services, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of other users or third parties; (iii) any content obtained from the Site or through the services; or (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Kidz Haven Babysitting, its officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with (i) your access to or use of the Site or the services; (ii) your violation of these Terms; or (iii) your violation of any rights of another.  

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

Kidz Haven Babysitting reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time in its sole discretion. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will post the updated Terms on the Site and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site or the services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.  

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Kidz Haven Babysitting relating to your access to and use of the Site and the services.
